Ashley was born a month ahead of schedule, weighing just 2lbs 8 ounces. In ICU the hospital, Ashley stayed for the whole month. The parents of the patient were told that she would need heart surgery during Christmas Day. Christmas Day was the day when doctors told her parents what they had been praying for when she visited the hospital. She was discharged and her parents were told. Ashley didn't need to undergo any procedures. After being released, she went home with a weight of 4 1/2 pounds following being hospitalized two months. She has been healthy ever since! Her father is of English as well as German ethnic heritage. Her mother's side is Irish. Her acting debut was in a 2002 Salon Surprise Barbie Doll commercial. Ashley was approached first by Ford Modeling Agency when she reached the age of eight. She worked steadily in print and is still with the Agency. She was a performer from the time she was a teenager. Ashley continued to work on 35 commercials and later on to theatrical roles. Ashley was able to find her calling. Ashley's focus shifted to acting. It was a little difficult to find time for dancing and modeling. Ashley's final appearance on ABC Family Pretty Little Liars was as "Hanna Marin". Ashley made a brief cameo on the music video for "True love" from Romeo Miller, aka Lil Romeo and Solange. Britney took a photo with Ashley for Vogue Magazine. In the NLT music video for "That Girl", she appears.
