Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American actor and model who was a part of a number of TV shows and films during her career. She began as a model, but when she received international recognition, she decided to pursue acting. The beginning of her acting career came in 1995 when she starred in the show Baywatch Nights. She has also done voice-overs and contributed her voice to an animation version "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker'. Harmon made the decision in 2000 to focus on film work and quit working on the TV shows. After a few films then she went back to her television role. She is among the actresses that have posed discreetly nude for "Allure" magazine in the year 2008. As Detective Jane Rizzoli, she has appeared on TNT's 'Rizzoli & Isles. The role of a police detective was well-respected and she won several awards. Angie Harmon has been nominated for numerous times over many years and won few prizes for her exceptional performances.
